Is God Causing the Earthquakes in Iran

By Lance Winslow Well it sure seems interesting that there have been so many recent Earthquakes in the Nation State of Iran. It appears Iran and its President have been in the news for all the wrong reasons, such as promising to; Blow Israel off the Map and sponsoring international terrorist organizations such as but not limited too; Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran has also been in the news for buying Chinese ICBM missiles which are 35-feet long and capable of carrying nuclear warheads over 1200 miles meaning most countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. But that is not all, as the most serious reason they have been in the news lately is because they are developing nuclear weapons, as they wish to build an Atomic Bomb or two or actually a whole arsenal of them. They said at first this was only for nuclear power generation but now admit that they want a deterrent since so many other nations have nuclear weapons all around them like; Israel, Russia, France, Pakistan, India, China, etc. There is a big difference of course and that is those nations do not sponsor international terrorist organizations or promise to blow whole nations off the map you see? Now we find they have had three Earthquakes there in the past 45 days or so? Why, is God angry at their abuse of power and threats against mankind? Some believe it is, but really what do you think about all this? Consider this in 2006. “Lance Winslow” - Online Think Tank forum board. How A Tiny 10 Year Old Girl Can Throw A 20 Stone Man - 3 Key Lessons In The Gentle Art Of Business

By Debbie Jenkins Half my immediate family trained in Judo and excelled in competition. I was always fascinated by the way in which my younger brother and sister (who were small for their age) were able to throw much bigger opponents with seemingly little effort. I remember vividly watching a training session where my sister easily threw another student flat on his back. What staggered me though was the size of the student. He was huge. But she didn’t strain or struggle. She simply appeared to step calmly backwards as he approached and let him fall over her in a big circle to land flat on his back. I was amazed and by the look on his face so was he. You may be mistaken in thinking he was going easy on her, but he wasn’t. There was something in the way she reacted to his movement which gave her this enormous power. Something in the technique she used that enabled her to lift a 20 stone man off the ground and plant him flat on his back. I’m now going to share her secret with you with ideas for applying these principles to your own business… Dr. Jigoro Kano, the founder of Judo devised a theory known as “kazushi” which essentially means, “Using a minimum amount of strength, it is possible to throw your opponent if you force him off balance by breaking his posture.” Kazushi (unbalancing your opponent) is effectively promoting the idea of “Minimum Effort - Maximum Impact”. Which, by no coincidence, happens to be the key concept behind Lean Marketing. This understanding of Kazushi is what gave my 10 year-old sister the power and belief she needed to throw the 20 stone man. She yielded to his forward momentum and put her foot in a position low enough to act as a lever which had the effect of disturbing his balance with the full force of his own momentum and weight behind it. In other words she harnessed all 20 stone of his weight, combined it with her own and used it all against him! So How Do You Use Kazushi In Your Business? Key #1 - Balance Jim Rohn once said, “The same wind blows on us all, what matters is the set of the sail.” You need to make balanced, reasoned decisions to be most efficient. This means you need to realise the harmony in all parts of your business. It’s no good chasing new business if you ignore the clients you already have. There’s no point in striving for financial success at the cost of your health, friends and fun. Balanced thinking also means the ability to put things in perspective. Small problems affect us all. It’s when we see these small things as big that we get carried away and can over-react. Key #2 - Momentum I talk a lot about using pain and gain as a motivator. This is essentially a tool for creating momentum. But momentum without a direction is waste. Make sure you have vivid, powerful goals. Keep your end in mind and be willing to go with the flow and will of others where necessary so that your outcome can still be realised. Don’t tackle problems head on but guide people in a direction that is mutually beneficial. Argument and conflict is wasteful and should be avoided where possible. Pace people. Show them you understand them. Then guide them and allow their own momentum to do the rest. Don’t get carried away pursuing things that do not lead to your desired outcome - otherwise your momentum may be the very thing that trips you up. Key #3 Leverage By recognising levers you’ll be able to harness the power of momentum and make it your own. Effectively harnessing energy in the same way that a sail on a boat uses the wind to make it move. Knowing where and when to take action and understanding that the little adjustments and small things can make the big difference will give you unlimited power. Gain support. Ask for favours. Use your network. Make other people’s time and money work for you and them simultaneously and you’ll achieve a lot more a lot sooner and with a lot less effort. As the saying goes: “If you give enough people what they want - they’ll help you to get what you want too. 4 Out Of 5 Small Businesses Go Bust Inside 5 Years! Are Blacks the Cursed Descendants of Ham?

By Vc Veasey First the text of the curse then my commentary, Genesis chapter 9 20 Noah was the first tiller of the soil. He planted a vineyard; 21 and he drank of the wine, and became drunk, and lay uncovered in his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. 23 Then Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it upon both their shoulders, and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; their faces were turned away, and they did not see their fathers nakedness. 24 When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his youngest son had done to him, 25 he said, “Cursed be Canaan; A slave of slaves shall he be to his brothers.” 26 He also said, “Blessed by the Lord my God be Shem; and let Canaan be his slave. God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem; and let Canaan be his slave.” (Revised Standard Edition) My Commentary Now lets see what this infamous curse is all about. Well it appears that Noah got drunk and passed-out naked in his tent (Verse 21). Ham saw him lying there drunk asleep and told his brothers about it and they covered him with a garment (Verse 22). So it seems that Noah spoke this curse because he was mad that his son, Ham, saw him naked. I guess he was pretty uptight about being seen naked by Ham but not about drinking so much that he’d passed-out and was lying there in the nude where anyone could see him, including Shem and Japheth, Ham just happened to see him first. Now heres where the story gets interesting, Noahs mad at his son, Ham, but he curses his grandson, Canaan (Verse 25). He says “”Cursed be Canaan; a slave of slaves shall you be to your brothers.” Why is he cursing his innocent grandson, Canaan, who’s not in this story at all up to this point and whos only mentioned here in passing (Verse 22). And whats so bad about being seen naked that hed want to curse anybody anyway, especially his innocent grandson? Ham committed this “horrible” offense so why doesnt he curse Ham instead? Noah was drunk; so maybe he intended to curse Ham but mistakenly cursed Canaan. At any rate, the person who initially took the forbidden action in relation to Noah was Ham not Canaan. Some people say that seeing Noah naked wasn’t the real reason for his invoking the cursethat the real reason Canaan was cursed was because he sexually molested Noah while he was sleeping. Read the text for yourself folks; Verse 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. 23 Then Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it upon both their shoulders, and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; their faces were turned away, and they did not see their fathers nakedness. Do you see anything in the text about Canaan molesting his grandfather, Noah? Does it seem to you that the real reason for the curse was that Ham saw Noah naked? If seeing Noah naked wasn’t the reason why does the writer emphasizes the fact that Ham saw his father’s nakedness and Shem and Japheth didn’t? Anyway, the innocent Canaan received the curse not Ham. Let’s move on. Lets dissect the historical after shocks of this curse. White supremacists and their sympathizers say that Ham was cursed by God with blackness and as a result all of Hams descendants (Black People) are cursed as well and are destined to be slaves. (A good justification for enslaving Africans during the European slave trade.) But as you can see by the text thats not true, God doesnt curse anybody Noah does. (Verse 24-25). Noah doesnt curse Ham he curses his innocent grandson, Canaan and text doesnt say that Ham or Canaan were cursed with blackness. Noah said in Verse 25, Canaan shall be a slave of slaves to his brothers and in Verses 26-27, to his Uncles Shem and Japheth not to white supremacists or any other group. Now who are these brothers Canaan is cursed to be a slave to? Get out your bibles, scroll down to Genesis 10:6 where it lists the sons of Ham, his sons are listed as Cush, Egypt, Put, and Canaan. (This probably means that this story is metaphorical or mythological because these are all names of ancient civilizations in Africa, groups of people not individuals). These are the blacks who (according to the text) are the descendants of Ham; who historically, white racists say were cursed by God with blackness; but, againas you can see from the text thats not the case. God doesnt curse Ham or his sons with blackness but Noah does curse Canaan. So Canaan is cursed to be a slave to his brothers Cush, Egypt, and Put? Canaan is cursed to be a slave to the ancestors of the blacks? Not to mention that if Canaans brothers are blackthat means Canaan is black tooand since Ham, Shem and Japheth all have the same father and mother, its logical to conclude that Noah, his wife, Shem and Japheth are black as well. Remember Ham wasn’t cursed with blackness. So that means that if his sons are black..he’s black… his mother and father are black…and so are his brothers.Thats how absurd this whole thing about blacks being cursed with blackness is. Lets trace the descendants of the innocent cursed Canaan. Go to genesis 10:15-20 and youll see that the descendants of Canaan actually end up populating a large portion of whats now the Middle East. Canaan was the Promised Land (roughly were present day Israel is now) that Moses led the children of Israel to. And since the Israelites were the descendants of Canaans uncle, Shem, that means they actually fought their own relatives for possession the Promised Land. As I said earlier, if Ham was black, then the whole family of Noah was black, therefore by extension, Moses and the people he led out of Egypt were black. Not to mention that Egypt was also a descendant of Ham, where these children of Israel lived and intermingled for 400 hundred years! So if there were any cursed descendants of Ham it looks like they would have to be Canaans descendants. But againthe text doesnt say Canaans descendants were cursed just the innocent Canaan, (Verse 25-26). So what happened to the fabled curse on black people? Unless youre spiritually myopic, you can see from the text that this whole curse thing has just been ethnic propaganda, used for centuries to justify enslaving Africans and their descendants for economic gain and to help relieve the guilt of white Christians for participating in the slave trade. Generally speaking, this myth has allowed all whites to feel superior to blacks for no other reason than that they are white! According to the noted African American Historian and anthropologist, J.A Rogers, in his book “Nature Knows No Color Line” certain Jewish Rabbis in the first or second century A.D. taught that Ham was cursed with blackness for engaging in sex on the ark against Gods command. Heres another source of historical misinformation that help create the psychological climate that made it easier for various White Christian cultures to debase, abuse, and enslave blacks for social and economic gain. The myth that God “cursed” blacks made it easier for White Christians and others to engage in racist behaviors without feeling guilty about it. (Of course not all Whites or White Christians accepted this ideology or engaged in those behaviors and many were totally in opposition to any racist ideology) Blacks must have previously been very powerful and enviously admired in the cultural and religious history of the various White cultures of the world, for so much scorn to have been heaped on them starting in such ancient times. Ironically there are African-Americans who believe this myth about blacks being the “cursed Descendants of Ham” without ever researching it to see if it’s true or not! But that’s the way it is with those who are closed minded whether theyre White or Black. They never critique nor question if what they believe is true or not. They just accept it as true, because thats what they been taughtbut it’s been said we should seek to know the truth if want to free our minds of deception, ” And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free John 8:32 This piece is dedicated to all of you, who believed that blacks were the cursed descendants of Ham based on what you believed or thought that the Bible said about the subject…hopefully this has been an Enlightening Experience for you. Financing With A Home Equity Loan

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Kenny]Joseph Kenny If you have good credit, a homeowner, your mortgage is paid on time every month and you are thinking about borrowing money, the home equity route may be the way to go. What this allows is suppose your home is worth substantially more than your current mortgage, for example, your mortgage is for 100,000 but your home is worth 200,000, you will have an equity of 100,000 in the value of your home that you can borrow against. A home equity loan can be used for many purposes: Paying off other debts; Taking a holiday; Paying for university; The loan is secured over your home, and therefore, the interest rate will generally be lower than for other types of credit that may be available. This makes them a good option for paying off higher interest debts, so long as you dont rack them up again, or taking on a larger project such as a house extension. It is often a good idea to use a home equity loan to renovate your house, as the house value increases as a result, and often by more than what you pay to renovate it. You can also receive a tax credit on the interest paid on the loan. However, it must be remembered that such loans are not appropriate for everybody in every situation. They should generally only be used for large projects of long term needs. For smaller loans, it may be better to look at other options such as personal loans. The rate and terms, as with all loans, will vary depending on your payment history and the amount and length of the loan. The loan can be offered as a lump sum or as a credit line. The lump sum gives you the whole amount of the loan all at once and interest is payable on it immediately. With a credit line, you only use the money as needed, up to an agreed maximum, and interest only accrues on the amount you use. You should always carefully review your finances before taking on more debt, especially if it is to be secured on your home. Using your home as security means that if repayments arent made on the loan, you could lose your house. It is therefore important that you are comfortable with the amount you are borrowing. You should also look at the differences in costs between a lump sum and a line of credit and decide carefully which one better suits your needs. Its Online Dating, Not A Lion’s Den

By Jason King Online dating in some singles eyes seems to be something to fear. Theyre curious enough to have a peek at what the online dating service looks like, and offers them, but then they leave. This is the point when they could be creating a profile that will be seen by thousands of eligible singles, then lead them into a fulfilling relationship. Online dating is still, after all these years, something a lot of singles are still afraid of trying. They get right up to the door, but for one reason or another dont want to enter. Only they know the reason why they wouldnt want to increase their chances of meeting someone. They have the opportunity of meeting one of thousands of singles they would never bump into offline. Maybe theyre worried that someone they know will see their profile. This is just something that they have planted in their own mind. If someone sees their profile theyre obviously curious about online dating as well. Theres no difference in trying to meet a partner online as there is offline. Its just like shopping. Some people do it offline, and now millions of people are doing it online. People change with the times. Theres no reason not to put a free profile on a few online dating services to see which one will reap the best rewards. Someone stepping out of their comfort zone often has many more benefits than staying in their comfort zone. A lot of singles still see online dating as something that isnt safe. Talking to someone that you dont know is a lot safer online than it is in a bar or club. For one theyre in the safety of their own home, and theyre not getting drunk, and losing their inhibitions. Talking online gives someone the chance to get to know someone before that first date. Its easy to see how serious someone is looking for a relationship just by looking at their profile. After the online introduction comes the next fear of the first date. Again a first date will happen no matter what method anyone has used for dating. Even a date arranged by friends can turn bad. At least with meeting them online first there has been some sort of connection. Early signs to look for if it doesnt feel right are being rushed into the first date. If a single is not allowing another single to date at their own pace they theyre probably not going to change once they have met them. With all the other thousands of singles online dating in every major city it isnt hard to start communicating with someone else. Online dating is a very safe and rewarding place to meet a partner. Millions of singles are finding this out every month, and have made the decision to take control of their life, and meet someone. And thousands of singles are now in a happy relationship with someone they would never had met if it wasnt for creating their profile. Cash Advance Loans - Understanding Payday Loan Costs

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Carrie_Reeder]Carrie Reeder Cash advance companies determine their fees differently that traditional financing companies. Instead of being charged a rate, you will be charged a flat financing fee. Since cash advance companies structure their loans differently, they have to adjust how they determine fees. However, even cash advance companies determine their rates in their own way. So shop fees for the best payday loan. Fees Instead Of Rates Since payday loans are for such a short period, typically less than two weeks, financing companies structure the loan cost as a flat fee. There are no application costs or daily interest charges with most lenders. But the federal government still requires cash advances costs to be posted as an APR. The idea is that you can make comparisons between all types of credit, including credit cards, personal loans, and home equity line of credit. If you come to your due date and cant pay off the entire loan, then you have a couple of options. You can pay your financing fee and put off the principal payment until your next payday. The other option is to just pay the financing fee. In both cases you will be charged an additional flat financing fee for the delay. The Reason For The Difference Payday loans do have a higher APR than other forms of credit for a couple of reasons. First of all, cash advances are for such a small amount and short period that the cost is high to process. The other reason is that payday loans have one of the highest levels of risks since they are not secured and no credit check is required. Not All Financing Fees Are The Same Even between payday loan companies you will find a wide range of financing fees. Some lenders determine their fees on a daily period; others on a two week period. A few companies also charge applications fees, although most waive these fees for first time borrowers. To be sure you are getting the best deal, read carefully the information about financing fees. All financing companies must disclose information on their fees prior to discharging any loan. So most lenders will post the information on their website. If you have any questions, you will get a quick answer with email. Here are our [http://www.abcloanguide.com/paydayloans.shtml]Recommended Payday Loan Companies online. How the Brave Bride Ebays Her Way to a Happy Wedding Day

By Rhetta Akamatsu What’s the one thing that usually stands between a bride and groom and the wedding of their dreams? You didn’t even have to think, did you? Money! Well, in my neverending quest to help couples save money and have their dream days, I have been checking out America’s online auction obsession. I chose Ebay for my research, because Ebay is the most well-known of the auction sites, and I personally have had excellent experience with Ebay sellers. Here’s what I found out: Even the bride and/or groom who is not all that daring can find wonderful bargains on many wedding essentials online. It doesn’t hurt, if you have the time, to try your hand at bidding on items. Often, you can get wonderful savings that way. Just make sure you’ve done your research and know what the average price should be, and don’t bid above it. But if you don’t want to bother with that, just check the items that say “Buy it now,” and pay that price. I checked only “buy it now” prices, and found wonderful deals on decorations, silk flowers, and favors. For example, I found 72 white faux pearl flowers perfect for corsages and decorating for $9.99. These flowers started me thinking about how charming a wrist corsage would be with a simple, elegant wedding gown in place of a traditional bouquet. There were also 84 cream or white silk roses at $9.99 for the cream and $13.00 for the white. These would be enough to make bouquest for a bride and all her bridesmaids, and they were beautiful flowers. For the flower girl and table top decoration, one Ebay store offered 1000 red silk rose petals for $13.50. For the slightly more adventurous bride, there was wonderful bridal jewelry for less than $20, and veils for $9-$20.00. But the bravest, most daring bride could have the greatest savings of all on one of the biggest expenses for most people. I’m talking about the dress. Yes, you can find wedding dresses on Ebay, and not just the ones that have been worn, either. I saw new dresses ranging from a simple, elegant design for $60 to a beautiful white & ivory Renaissance style gown for $110.00. There were also many gowns for $500 and up, but for those, unless you are going to bid and try to win them, I think you should go to a salon and get all the personal fitting and pampering that price deserves. With the less expensive dresses, you may have to have them professionally altered to fit, but at less than $200 you are still getting a bargain. Of course, you have to consider the shipping costs for any of these bargains, but a savvy shopper should still check out Ebay or the other online auctions as yet another option to get what you want and not break the bank for your wedding day. Bad Credit Debt Consolidation Loans - An Opportunity Beyond Belief

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=James_Taylor]James Taylor Every one now a day requires money for different purposes it may be for personal purposes, home improvement, wedding or for the educational purposes. Every one may not have enough money by themselves to fund the event by individually so a loan is a very important tool, which can help us, reach the desired conclusion. But sometimes we have multiple requirements for which we have to take multiple loans from different lenders. This can sometimes create problems of paying of interest rates, which do get inflated and are therefore paying of money higher than usual. With the help of bad credit Debt consolidation loans you can reduce your burden. The problem gets bigger for people with bad credit histories who are already being charged a rate of interest that is higher than what they should be charged. People with bad credit history include people like: Defaults People in arrears CCJs People who have earlier filled for bankruptcy or IVAs A tag of bad credit is put on the borrowers when they default or falter in their payments as far as their earlier loan was concerned. Bad credit is based on a credit score, which is a three digit rating of borrowers credit worthiness. A general score of or below 600 is the one, which is considered to be poor, or the one which brings upon the credit history on the borrower. There are other scores as well which you can use to calculate your credit worthiness such as FICO (fair Isaac Corporation) score which ranges between 300 and 850 and there are three such scores provided by FICO and depending on the lender all of your score or the middle score will be taken into account to estimate your credit worthiness. If you do not know your credit score you can get it calculated by any of these credit rating agencies i.e. Trans union, Experian or Equifax. For calculating the credit score the following factors are taken into consideration. Late payments Length of time at the present residence Employment history The amount of time credit has been established [http://www.chanceforloans.co.uk/bad_credit_car_loan.html]Bad Credit debt consolidation loans are an ideal tool for people with bad credit history to reduce the burden on themselves if they use this method of paying their debts.
